Office Administrator – Lausanne

The Office Administrator position in Studio Banana has the responsibility of ensuring the smooth running of the studio at an administrative and facility level, and must contribute to driving seamless daily operations of a creative company. Candidates must have experience in all/most facets of an administration and secretarial post.

The tasks of the office administrator will include bookkeeping and broader secretarial tasks, as well as facilitating life at Banana Campus (the office of Studio Banana in Lausanne). The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. He/she will be self-motivated, proactive and trustworthy, have good interpersonal communication skills and be passionate about working in a dynamic and challenging environment.


Job Description



– Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency

– Coordinate and communicate with the broader administrative team in other geographies of the company

– Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

– Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures

– Logging or processing bills or expenses

– Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data

– Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary

– Assist colleagues whenever necessary

– Coordinating office maintenance and upgrades with external suppliers (IT, repairs etc)

– Implementing new procedures and administrative systems

– Hosting visitors and greeting clients



– Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

– Familiarity with office management procedures and accounting principles

– Excellent organisational, communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

– Professional level in French and English



– Driving license is a bonus

– Valid Swiss working permit is a bonus
